Kundalini Sadhana

This class is taught by:

Evelyne Serais

Evelyne Serais is a certified Kripalu yoga teacher, with 500 hour Certified advanced teacher training from the Amrit yoga institute where she also studied the "forgotten art" of Yoga Nidra. She completed her Kundalini teacher training in 2010 with Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa. She is also a certified Traditional Thai Yoga body worker, practicing since 2004 and continuing that exploration by studying that healing art with diverse teachers from around the world.

Aamna Qureshi

Aamna completed her 200 hour Kundalini Teacher Training at Yoga for Everybody under the direction of Mahan Rishi Singh Khalsa and Nirbhe Kaur Khalsa. With a background in education, Aamna has a passion for teaching and strives to guide her students on a journey of self-exploration to develop a deeper understanding of mind and body. Although Aamna loves teaching, she views herself as a lifelong student, seeking to continuously learn with and from others.

John Donovan

John is a 200 hr certified Kundalini instructor. He completed his training at Yoga 4 Everybody and is certified through the Kundalini Research Institute. John first began practicing yoga in college and has since found his practice in the kundalini lineage. John has completed several trainings with many teachers, including a Level 2 Lifestyles and Life cycles course.
John is also an avid outdoorsman; he spends his time off the mat on his surfboard or mountain bike. He finds that these activities are both a compliment and catalyst to his yoga practice.

Amarjot/Anne Donovan

Amarjot Kaur (Anne Donovan) is a KRI level 1 certified Kundalini Yoga instructor, CTI certified Life Coach, a level 2 Shamballa Multi-Dimensional Healing, and an Enthusiastic Student of Life. From her first kundalini class, she knew she had found a complete yoga practice that both uplifted and grounded her and life began to change in the most positive ways. Through this yoga she finally found a healthy and effective way to manage anxiety that plagued her daily life.
As a teacher Amarjot strives to create a space for people to find what they need to stay strong, connected, and balanced. Her classes encourage students to go within and bring a gentle presence to and acceptance of who they are. She believes it is from this empowered space that we are able to joyfully share our innate gifts with the world.
Amarjot gains an incredible amount of inspiration and wisdom from her teachers Siri Bani Kaur, Mahan Rishi Singh Khalsa, and Nirbhe Kaur Khalsa.

The program consists of sitting meditation listening to Japji recitation yoga set (postures and breath). Morning meditation with 62 min of chanting. Warm ups and yoga set (kriya) morning meditation consisting of the same 7 chants (one for each chakra) followed by relaxation. There is very little music, with softer background music and mantras. All are welcome, although there will not be guidance and directions for people new to Kundalini.
