Amarjot Kaur (Anne Donovan) is a KRI level 1 certified Kundalini Yoga instructor, CTI certified Life Coach, a level 2 Shamballa Multi-Dimensional Healing, and an Enthusiastic Student of Life. From her first kundalini class, she knew she had found a complete yoga practice that both uplifted and grounded her and life began to change in the most positive ways. Through this yoga she finally found a healthy and effective way to manage anxiety that plagued her daily life.
As a teacher Amarjot strives to create a space for people to find what they need to stay strong, connected, and balanced. Her classes encourage students to go within and bring a gentle presence to and acceptance of who they are. She believes it is from this empowered space that we are able to joyfully share our innate gifts with the world.
Amarjot gains an incredible amount of inspiration and wisdom from her teachers Siri Bani Kaur, Mahan Rishi Singh Khalsa, and Nirbhe Kaur Khalsa.
Amy originally trained as a psychologist in the study of mind and behavior. But after experiencing the transformative effects of yoga during her first yoga teacher training in 2008, Amy left her tenured academic position to “bring the body onboard” and pursue her fascination with the intersection of mind, emotion, muscles, posture, and mental states. She is currently a clinical massage therapist and a faculty member at Cortiva Institute of Massage Therapy in Westport. Her yoga classes stem from the Viniyoga tradition, which combines breath with gentle, focused movements designed to rebalance the physical body and re-energize the internal state. Amy’s classes are open to all levels of experience, including those with no prior yoga background. Anyone who feels tight, stiff, inflexible, or is intimidated by yoga is especially welcome!

It was an innate curiosity plus a dash of on-the-job stress that led Kerri to her first yoga class many moons ago. Once through the door, it was love at first asana. Kerri credits her yoga practice with helping her open up to gratitude a little more, beat herself up a little less, and become more authentic in her teaching, relationships, and life in general. She is a certified yoga teacher in the ISHTA tradition as well as a Reiki master, and her classes are a creative, richly layered mix of movement and meditation that nurture the body and soul on many levels. She holds a separate certification in Prenatal yoga and has a passion and affinity for sharing yoga with families and kids of all ages. With equal parts whole-heartedness, humility and humor, Kerri's intention, as a teacher and fellow student, is to do her best to make sure everyone who crosses her path feels seen and supported, exactly where they are.
