All of our teachers are certified and registered with the Yoga Alliance (RYT), a national organization that provides support to and maintains minimum standards for the education of yoga teachers.

When Judy first stepped onto her mat and realized what life changing principles and connections yoga has to offer she was hooked. After spending many years practicing different styles of yoga which included Bikram, Vinyasa, Dharma Mittra and Jiva Mukti, she began her journey as a teacher in 2013. Judy completed Buddhi Power Yoga 200hrs Teacher Training Certification with Lyn Kehoe. Her teaching style has blossomed further from attending workshops led by inspirational teachers like Bryan Kest, Tao Porchon Lynch, Rodney Yee and Kathryn Budig. Judy’s certifications include: Foundations of Thai Yoga with Shai Plonski Restorative Yoga with Jillian Pransky Yin Yoga with Biff Mithoefer Y12SR for Addiction Reiki with Brett Bevell She is currently working on her 300hrs at Kaia Yoga with Gina Norman. Judy brings to her class humor, energy and lightheartedness. She combines a challenging Vinyasa flow with attention to breath, alignment and yogic philosophy. All while encouraging her students to practice their yoga off their mats and into their everyday lives.
David Dusenbury, RYT - David completed his 200 hr Yoga Teacher Training program through Pranotthan Yoga School. In David’s life he is a stock analyst, father and Husband. Balancing all facets of his life created stress so he turned to meditation, which offered him space where he could go inside, find peace and listen. This place of healing inspired him to participate and assisted in a Mind Body Stress Reduction (MBSR) program. David has completed part A of Yoga Nidra training at the Amrit Desai Institute. He looks forward to sharing this place of peace with his students.
Evelyne Serais (owner of Y4E) is a certified Kripalu yoga teacher, with 500 hour Certified advanced teacher training from the Amrit yoga institute where she also studied the "forgotten art" of Yoga Nidra. She completed her Kundalini teacher training in 2010 with Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa. She is also a certified Traditional Thai Yoga body worker, practicing since 2004 and continuing that exploration by studying that healing art with diverse teachers from around the world.
Alyssa's love for yoga began 15 years ago when she took her first class. Since then she has been blessed with the opportunity to study yoga, meditation, and healing around the world. As a practicing Licensed Massage Therapist, Aromatherapist, and Reiki Master, her journey came full circle when she returned home to become a graduate of Pranotthan Yoga School's 200-hr training program. Rooted in the Kripalu lineage, Pranotthan exemplifies the path of love, compassion, and transformation.
Alyssa blends her years of learning from many beloved teachers with the methodology and principals of Pranotthan Yoga. She brings an authentic, creative voice and loving presence to her classes. Believing that yoga is everyone, Alyssa is passionate about guiding students to a deeper mind-body connection that releases stress, nourishes the spirit, and leads to a more empowered and integrated life.
Ariadne is a certified Kripalu yoga teacher and has been teaching since 2003. She is also a licensed massage therapist, occupational therapist, is certified in Prenatal/Postnatal Yoga and Massage Therapy and is midway through her 500 hour advanced yoga teacher training. Ariadne weaves yoga postures, breathwork and meditation into her classes as a means of cultivating presence and nonjudgmental self- awareness. Ariadne's classes remind us to ride the waves of our life with compassion, and to allow life to flow through us with ease and grace. She believes the practice of yoga awakens the natural intelligence of the body-mind- heart- and spirit thereby guiding us towards more compassionate choices for ourselves, our families, our community and our planet.
Carolyn Fahey R.N., E/RYT-500, started practicing yoga in 1997 and became a certified yoga teacher in 2001. She has studied extensively with Todd Norian in the Anusara style of yoga, facilitated yoga teacher trainings, taught private students, public classes and led workshops. Her teaching style blends the science of physical alignment with the art of an inspiring heart centered theme. Carolyn teaches with an authentic, playful approach to help students feel at ease and comfortable in learning and exploring the practice of yoga. Her intention as a teacher is to empower all students to cultivate a connection to their inner wisdom and live an authentically happy life.
Erica is a 200 hour certified Kripalu yoga teacher working on the additional 300 hour training through Pranakriya School of Healing Arts.
Erica is certified to teach pre-natal and MS yoga. Erica remains inspired by the Kriplau roots of a compassionate non-judgmental witness consciousness, through continued exploration of energy awareness, and breath work.
With gratitude, Erica continues to explore and nurture a belief in the healing practice of yoga, through the power of yoga to inspire, heal, and connect us to ourselves to each other and to a higher purpose.
Greg Barringer – RYT, began practicing yoga twenty years ago, and has been sharing it ever since. He received his initial teaching certification from the Kripalu School of Yoga, and has advanced certifications in Thai, Hatha and Kundalini Yoga. He received his BA and MBA from Boston University; and spent two decades as a participant and coach of high performance athletes. He continues to work with individuals and organizations to improve their programs, enhance their communities, and deliver high quality programs and services.

Greg practices and teaches Hatha and Kundalini yoga, as well as different forms of meditation and Thai yoga bodywork. His intention is to heal and release the blocks that keep us stuck and in our patterns of suffering. His classes raise energy and awareness, strengthen the body, and enhance the immune, circulatory, glandular, and nervous systems.

Greg’s intention is to inspire others to live in harmony with change, and create peace, abundance and love in our lives. 

Jeanine Oburchay, E/RYT-500 is a hatha yoga instructor certified through Yoga Alliance. Jeanine's yoga classes are filled with laughter and joy, as she instills in her students a nurturing playfulness that allows every practitioner – from beginner to seasoned yogi – to practice unselfconsciously, in a safe, loving, supportive, yet challenging environment. In her classes, proper alignment allows each student to progress in a way that helps to avoid injury and heal the body. In addition to teaching yoga, Jeanine is a Reiki Master, a practitioner of Thai Yoga, and a springboard diving coach.
Johanna Garvey, RYT-200, began her yoga journey in 2005 at Yoga for Everybody in Fairfield, CT. She received her 200-hour certification from Kim Valeri’s Yoga Spirit Studios® in 2009. A native Californian, she brings to her yoga practice her experience in ballet and jazz dance, as well as synchronized and competitive swimming, and infuses her form-and-flow classes with movement and joy. She is attentive to students’ needs, while also creating a safe environment and community atmosphere in her classes. She has taken trainings with Ana Forrest, Desiree Rumbaugh, Todd Norian, Kamini Desai, Koby Kozlowski, Beth Gibbs, and many others, and is in the middle of her 500-hour training. Johanna is also a professor of literature at Fairfield University.
Joy LeVine Abrams, MS, RYT, is a certified Kripalu Yoga instructor and has been teaching yoga since 1995. Joy is co-creator of THE FLEXIBLE PAINTER, an art and yoga retreat in Madison, CT and Tuscany. She has an M.S. in Biology and Nutrition. Joy feels her most profound learning came from her nine years of hospice work as Director of Volunteers. She is currently teaching the 8 week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Program.
Julie Moffat is a teacher of Qigong, sound healing and meditative movement. Her passion is to share the powerful and transformative practices of Qigong with people of all ages and show them how to create new pathways of internal and external health. It brings her great joy to help others learn ways to take their health into their own hands. Nurturing ourselves through Qigong, we surrender to the preciousness of the present and our own presence. She teaches simple but powerful ways for people to improve their health by lessening anxiety, stress, sadness and learning to let go of daily frustrations.

Julie holds certifications from the Institute of Integral Qigong and Tai Chi, Radiant Lotus Women’s Qigong and Organ Cleansing Qigong. She has studied with many international teachers including Daisy Lee, Francesco Garri Garripoli, Roger Jahnke, Master Kenneth Cohen, Robert Peng, Dr. Yang Yang, Master Sat Cheun Hon, Solala Towler and teachers from the Chinese Health Qigong Association. Julie also has a MA in Art History, Archives & Museum Studies.

Kathy Jamison, E-RYT500, YACEP (Yoga Alliance Continuing Ed Provider), CIAYT (Certified by the International Association of Yoga Therapists) is a nationally recognized senior faculty member and coordinator of 500hr training programs for the American Viniyoga Institute. She is also a certified Ayurvedic Health Consultant and has a keen understanding of the enhanced wellbeing that can be experienced when the two sciences are combined to support and complement one another. Her lifelong journey in wellness care also has led her to become a licensed clinical massage therapist and certified Bach Remedies Practitioner. For the past 20 years, she has been guiding students towards deeper self-awareness and healing through daily self-care and gentle practice.
Katie is a 500-hour certified yoga teacher and has been practicing yoga for over 15 years. In 2008, Katie began studying at ISHTA Yoga in New York City and graduated from ISHTA’s 500-hour teacher training program in 2011. Founded by Yogiraj Alan Finger, ISHTA Yoga integrates the teachings of Hatha, Tantra, and Ayurveda to create a meaningful, personalized practice. Katie has also studied and completed trainings in Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Reiki, Thai Bodywork, and Anatomy & Therapeutics. Her classes combine clear alignment, pranayama/breath work, visualization, and tantric kriya techniques to help you feel more comfortable and conscious in your body.

Kellie Panus, RYT Kellie began teaching yoga in 2001 and has experienced an everlasting appreciation for the practice and a true love of teaching it ever since. Kellie (E-RYT 200) has additional certifications in vinyasa flow, pre and postnatal, children’s yoga and many hours of study in anusara. In addition to her 4 year tenure with Sean Johnson at Wild Lotus Yoga in New Orleans, her journey has included teaching stays in acclaimed yoga studios in Vail Valley, Colorado and Las Vegas, NV and she has had the honor of studying with many mentors along the way. Kellie’s classes are both structured and spontaneous.
